Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated, energetic Medical Receptionist to be an integral part of our Midwest Center team. Our practice fosters a family atmosphere with a strong emphasis on teamwork. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our patients, and will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding patient service as well as ensuring the smooth operation of our busy 11 physician OB/GYN office. Duties Greet patients with a warm smile and friendly demeanor, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Efficiently manage patient check-in and check-out processes, including verifying insurance information, collecting copays and collecting patient balances. Schedule appointments Answer phone calls and inquiries promptly, directing them to the appropriate staff members. Assist in administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and organizing documents Collaborate with the medical team to support the quality of patient care. Skills Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred but not required; we welcome enthusiastic individuals eager to learn Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks and using office systems efficiently.
