  • 19 an hour | Full-time | Monday-Friday Advanced EyeCare is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Medical Receptionist to join our Lincoln office.
This is a full-time, patient-facing position and an important part of our practice. Our receptionist is often the first person our patients interact with, so we are looking for someone who is personable, professional, organized, and committed to providing excellent patient service. Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM Responsibilities Greet patients and provide a welcoming, professional experience Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions Schedule and confirm patient appointments Check patients in and out Collect and verify demographic and insurance information Collect copays and patient balances Assist with insurance verification and routine front-office responsibilities Communicate with doctors, technicians, optical staff, and other team members Maintain accurate patient records and patient confidentiality Help keep the front office organized and running efficiently What We're Looking For Friendly and professional communication skills Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality Excellent customer-service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Comfortable using computers and learning new software Ability to multitask in a busy medical-office environment Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Previous experience in an optometry, medical, dental, or other healthcare office is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person. Compensation $16
