Job Description

Overview Join our team as a Dental Receptionist, where your energetic and organized approach will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors alike. In this role, you will manage in-bound calls, patient scheduling, and help create a smooth flow of clinic operations. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to delivering exceptional patient service and maintaining efficient clinic workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in dental office management while supporting a caring environment. Potential for FT in the near future for the right candidate. Compensation is negotiable, but dependent on skill. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify appointments, and manage check-in/check-out procedures. Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently utilizing dental software; coordinate with clinical staff to optimize daily clinic flow Gather insurance information while maintaining HIPAA compliance standards Review and update records, ensuring documentation review aligns with clinical confidentiality policies and health information management protocols Handle phone communication with professionalism, providing excellent patient service while managing appointment inquiries and follow-up calls with proper phone etiquette Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, care plans, and billing details Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, typing (including 10 key typing), and maintaining office supplies to ensure a well-organized front desk environment Qualifications Experience in a dental office setting , demonstrating familiarity with front desk operations and administrative support Strong and proficient computer skills Knowledge of dental terminology and coding standards for accurate documentation Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone and in person; bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse patient populations (Spanish speaking is a plus) Ability to review documentation thoroughly while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies; clerical experience is preferred Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing dental records and appointment schedules Office experience that demonstrates professionalism in handling multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Enthusiasm makes a meaningful difference! Pay:
From $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 27.0 - 33.0 per week
