Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator We are an established orthodontic practice serving patients and families in Rockford and Belvidere, Illinois, and are looking for an outgoing, organized, and highly personable Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This is a full-time, four-day-per-week position, primarily based in our Rockford office with approximately one day per week at our Belvidere location. The two offices are approximately 15 minutes apart. About the Role The Treatment Coordinator plays an important role in creating an exceptional experience for new and existing patients. You will help patients and families understand recommended orthodontic treatment, answer questions, discuss treatment and financial options, and guide them confidently as they start treatment. This position also includes administrative and organizational responsibilities within the practice, including coordinating treatment-related activities, ordering clinical supplies and materials, following up with patients, and working closely with the orthodontist and clinical team. The Treatment Coordinator may also assist the clinical team when needed. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is: Warm, outgoing, and comfortable building relationships with patients and families An excellent communicator who can explain information clearly and confidently Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow through Comfortable discussing treatment costs and financial options with patients Motivated by helping patients make confident decisions about their care Able to work effectively with both the clinical and administrative teams Comfortable learning new technology and practice-management systems Interested in taking ownership of an important role within a growing orthodontic practice Prior experience in a healthcare setting is preferred, particularly experience in a dental or orthodontic office. However, previous orthodontic experience is not required. We are also interested in exceptional candidates with strong patient-facing or customer-facing experience. The right personality, communication skills, professionalism, and willingness to learn are very important to us. We will provide training for the right candidate, including those with strong interpersonal and customer-facing skills who may not have previous orthodontic experience.
