This position is based on-site at South Town Animal Hospital and supports our front desk, client communication, scheduling, and patient check-in. South Town recently joined Cobb & Co Veterinary Clinic and remains proudly privately owned. It is an exciting time to join the team as we grow, improve our systems, and build on everything clients already know and love about the practice. Do you love animals and have that special presence, both over the phone and in person, that makes people feel instantly comfortable? We're looking for someone who can handle reception and phone responsibilities with equal skill, confidence, and kindness. What You'll Do Greet clients and their pets with a welcoming, calm demeanor Answer calls confidently and kindly, even when things get hectic Schedule appointments using our cloud-based practice management software Communicate clearly and professionally with clients and the medical team Handle prescription refill requests, medical record requests, and client messages Manage client check-ins, payments, and lobby flow Maintain accurate records that reflect our high standards of care Help create a smooth, positive experience from the first phone call through checkout Who You Are High school diploma or equivalent required At least one year of customer service experience required Veterinary medicine experience preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, preferred Positive, energetic, and equipped with a "let's make it happen" mindset An excellent communicator with strong customer service skills Comfortable using phones, computers, and multiple systems at once Able to stay calm, kind, and clear under pressure Reliable, detail-oriented, and known for following through Excited to learn, grow, and make every client interaction a good one Naturally warm, upbeat, and empathetic - golden retriever energy is absolutely encouraged A team player who balances compassion and efficiency Able to sit, stand, and wear a headset for extended periods Why You'll Love It Here Our team is talented, kind, and committed to doing good work.
