Home Healthcare Unit Secretary (QMA) Greencroft Goshen |
Goshen, IN Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM No Weekends! One Team. One Mission. At Greencroft, we believe great resident care starts with a team that works together. As a Healthcare Unit Secretary, you'll play an important role in supporting our nurses, residents, and families while helping ensure each day runs smoothly behind the scenes. What You'll Do As our Healthcare Unit Secretary, you'll provide administrative support to our nursing team while helping coordinate resident care in our senior living community.
Responsibilities include:
Answer and direct phone calls at the nursing station. Process physician orders and maintain Medication Administration Records (MARs). Order medications through the pharmacy and verify medication documentation. Schedule resident appointments and coordinate transportation. Assist with admissions, medical records, and resident documentation. Scan and maintain electronic medical records (EMR). Coordinate laboratory orders and review reports for accuracy. Support nurses with physician communications and documentation. Maintain accurate records, forms, directories, and nursing resources. Assist with quality improvement initiatives, compliance documentation, and special healthcare projects. Provide exceptional customer service to residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required. Current QMA certification required One to three years of CNA or healthcare experience preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology and abbreviations. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems. Ability to work independently while collaborating with the nursing team.
