Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer to join our team. In this vital role, you will lead installation projects, oversee technical operations, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will help deliver efficient climate control solutions that enhance comfort and energy efficiency for our clients. Duties Lead and coordinate HVAC installation projects, ensuring timely completion while maintaining safety standards and quality workmanship Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to accurately install heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and building automation systems Troubleshoot and repair HVAC/R equipment, including electrical diagnostics, refrigeration systems, boilers, and mechanical systems Perform system maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on HVAC systems while adhering to EPA regulations and safety protocols Supervise and mentor junior technicians and apprentices to develop their skills in HVAC system installation and service Conduct thorough equipment troubleshooting using hand tools and mechanical systems repair techniques to diagnose issues efficiently Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, schematics updates, and maintenance logs Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong background in HVAC system installation and property maintenance Service technician experience with hands-on knowledge of HVAC/R systems, electrical diagnostics, plumbing, refrigeration, and mechanical systems repair Ability to read complex schematics and HVAC design plans accurately Mechanical knowledge of building automation systems, electrical systems, boilers, air conditioning units, and related equipment Proficiency with hand tools and equipment troubleshooting techniques Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (including driver if applicable) EPA certification for refrigerant handling is required; additional certifications in HVAC or electrical diagnostics are a plus Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients Strong leadership qualities with the ability to supervise projects from start to finish effectively Join us as a Lead HVAC Installer where your expertise will directly impact the comfort of countless spaces!
