Job Description

Description We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical Front Office Specialist to support daily operations in a busy healthcare office. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, provides excellent patient service, and can manage multiple administrative responsibilities with accuracy and professionalism. This position works 3 days per week in Carmel, Mondays in Greenwood, and every other Friday in Greenwood. On alternating Fridays, the work location will be Muncie.
Shift:
8 hours between 8am and 6:30pm (either 8am- 5pm or 9:30am - 6:30pm)
Key Responsibilities:
+ Print and prepare the daily patient schedule for the office + Check out patients promptly and accurately following appointments + Collect copays and process patient payments + Enter and verify patient insurance information accurately in the system + Receive incoming referrals and ensure they are handled appropriately + Send outgoing referrals to specialists and other providers as needed + Call patients to confirm upcoming appointments and assist with scheduling + Retrieve incoming faxes and work them as needed, including routing and follow-up Requirements + Previous experience in a medical front office, medical reception, or healthcare administrative role preferred + Knowledge of insurance entry, copay collection, referrals, and appointment scheduling + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills + Excellent communication and customer service abilities + Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy medical office TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
