Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Office Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by providing exceptional support to both patients and staff. This position requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced environment. Pay based on experience. Responsibilities Manage patient scheduling and appointments efficiently to optimize office workflow. Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Assist with insurance verification and processing claims to facilitate patient billing. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly. Utilize dental terminology effectively in communication with patients and healthcare professionals. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out. Perform administrative duties such as data entry, and maintaining organized office systems. Qualifications Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with patients and staff alike. Experience with dental records management and understanding of dental coding is a plus. Proficiency in using Open Dental or similar practice management software is advantageous. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are crucial for maintaining accurate records. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
