Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point pf contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires, and office management systems to ensure smooth operations within the dental practice. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check -out process efficiently. Schedule and confirm appointments using dental software. Verify patient insurance information and assist with insurance information and assist with insurance claims processing. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Handle phone systems to answer inquires, provide information, and direct calls appropriately. Process patients payments and manage billing inquiries effectively. Assist in maiantaining an organized office environment, including manging supplies and equipment. Collaborate with dental staff to ensure a seamless patient experience. Experience Previous experience as a receptionist in a dental or medical setting is preferred. Familiarity with ICD-9 coding, billing practice, and insurance verification processes is advantageous. Proficient in using dental office management systems is advantageous. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service and satisfaction. Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
