The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing patient interactions, maintaining medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. This role is crucial in providing a welcoming atmosphere for patients while efficiently handling administrative tasks related to dental care. Duties Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures. Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar effectively. Review and maintain accurate medical records, ensuring all documentation complies with HIPAA standards. Process patient insurance claims, including Medicare, and verify eligibility. Prepare care plans in collaboration with dental professionals. Handle phone inquiries and provide information regarding services offered. Assist in the review of documentation for accuracy before patient appointments. Maintain a clean and organized reception area to enhance patient experience. Experience Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist is required . Familiarity with care plans, medical records management, and documentation review is highly desirable. Proficient typing skills are essential for efficient data entry and communication. Knowledge of Medicare processes and HIPAA regulations is an asset. Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff in a clinical setting.
