This is a role for someone who takes ownership: you'll manage patient-facing operations and assist with insurance billing for a team that moves fast. What You'll Do Be the first face and voice patients and visitors interact with via greeting, phone routing, and scheduling appointments and equipment deliveries/pickups Verify insurance eligibility and benefits for DME orders Prepare, submit, and follow up on insurance billing paperwork Maintain accurate, HIPAA-compliant patient documentation Coordinate directly with insurance companies, physicians' offices, and patients to close documentation gaps and resolve claim issues Own day-to-day office operations: supplies, mail, filing, data entry Jump into special projects as they come up What You Bring 3+ years of administrative/front office experience; healthcare or DME background a strong plus Working knowledge of insurance verification and billing/claims processes Genuine initiative - you spot what needs to happen next without being told Reliable attendance and follow-through people can count on Comfort juggling multiple priorities, interruptions, and deadlines without losing track Strong communication skills, written and verbal Comfort learning new practice management/billing software An eye for detail, especially with insurance documentation and compliance Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, Google Docs) A positive, people-first attitude; we like our patients and we like each other Valid driver's license Ability to pass a background check prior to start Nice to Have Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or social services DME Experience Customer Service experience What We Offer $19.00-$24.00/hour, based on experience Stable, full-time schedule A close-knit team where your work actually gets seen and valued Health, dental, and vision insurance PTO and 401(k) How to Apply Send your resume along with a short note explaining why you're applying to this position and what makes you a good fit.
