Front Desk / Clerical Cumberland Family Medical Center (CFMC) operates a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) offering a wide range of health and social services at multiple sites throughout Kentucky. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and patient-centered office professional to join our team and help ensure every patient feels valued from the moment they walk in the door. Position Summary Office staff serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing excellent customer service and administrative support. This role plays an essential part in maintaining a smooth and efficient clinic experience through scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and accurate recordkeeping.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet all patients and visitors cheerfully. Answer telephone, triage calls, and maintain records of exam. Schedule appointments and referrals to other providers. Register patients, help with the completion of necessary forms, and direct to the appropriate staff person, if needed. Complete encounter form upon arrival and checking (electronic and/or paper). Assist Physician, Nurse Practitioners, Clinical Assistants, and Office Manager as requested. Maintain neat, clean, and professional work area. Maintain established department policies. Assist in care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies. Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED Experience preferred Skills necessary: keyboarding, oral and written communication
Schedule Requirements:
Full-time position, 5 days per week, 100% clinic-based, in person work required. Work schedules are set at the discretion of CFMC and may be adjusted at any time based on the operational needs of the organization.
Compensation:
Negotiable based on experience
