Job Summary We are seeking a professional and dependable Medical Receptionist for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Shreveport, LA. This role is ideal for an experienced medical front desk professional who enjoys helping patients, supporting clinical teams, and keeping daily office operations organized in a busy healthcare setting. The Medical Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors while assisting with scheduling, phone coverage, patient documentation, and general administrative support. This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday schedule, no weekends, competitive hourly pay, and the potential to transition into a long-term position. Key Responsibilities
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional, courteous, and timely manner.
- Greet patients and visitors, verify information, and assist with check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule patient appointments and staff meetings while maintaining accurate calendars.
- Create, update, and maintain patient records, documentation, and office information.
- Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and office staff in person, by phone, and in writing.
- Provide general administrative support to help ensure smooth daily office operations. Compensation and Benefits
Pay:
$14.00 to $16.00 per hour, based on experience.Schedule:
Full-time, Monday through Friday.- Job type: Temp-to-hire.
