Job Description
Job Summary Seeking an experienced, reliable person with a positive attitude and excellent communication skills to work as a Front Desk Receptionist/Scheduler in a busy medical office. This role requires a quick learner with strong multi-tasking skills, attention to detail and someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a large volume of patients. Candidates must have a working knowledge of insurance and at least 5 years experience in a medical office. Responsibilities Greet patients and manage patient check-in and check-out processes Verify patient information and ensure it is accurate Schedule patient appointments using EHR system Verify insurance coverage and perform insurance verifications accurately Collect copays and payments Maintain and update patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations Manage appointment reminders, cancellations, and rescheduling efficiently Ensure compliance with HIPAA guidelines during all patient interactions and documentation review Experience 5 years prior medical office experience is required due to the fast pace and high patient volume of our clinic.
