Job Description
Willis Knighton's busy Urgent Care Center needs an experienced, motivated and energetic staff member to manage registration of patients, data entry, assemble charts, and answer incoming calls. The applicant will be responsible for collecting co-payments, faxing, and scanning of information as required daily. The applicant must be able to multitask at all times, work independently, and work 12-hour shifts, 7am-7pm, on rotating days of the week, including every other weekend. The applicant must be a high school graduate, with 2 years medical office experience and college experience preferred. They must also be accurate in data entry, have strong communication skills, and medical terminology would be a plus. The applicant will be required to attend a hospital-wide orientation, as well as a more departmental-focused orientation upon hire.
