Job Description

Framingham Pediatrics is looking for a part or full time front desk receptionist to join our team. We are located in Framingham and are a proud member of the Boston Children's Hospital Primary Care Alliance. Responsibilities include but are not limited to greeting patients, scheduling appointments, checking insurance eligibility, taking co-payments, generating referrals and answering phones. Medical office experience is a plus but we strongly encourage any candidate with administrative and customer service experience or interest in working in a pediatric office to apply. We are looking for someone enthusiastic and compassionate who has good communication skills and enjoys working with children and families. Our team supports each other and works well together to provide care for newborns, children, adolescents, and young adults living in Framingham and surrounding communities.
Required/Preferred Education, Experience and Skills:
  • High school diploma/GED
  • 1 or more years of experience in a medical office
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Excellent customer service, organizational skills, problem solving and priority setting skills
  • Basic Math and reading comprehension skills
  • Knowledge of EPIC Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred including Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Familiarity with using Medical terminology preferred

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
