You will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while maintaining strict adherence to confidentiality and health information management standards. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, answer phone calls with professionalism, and schedule appointments efficiently using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Point Click Care. Manage visitors and vendors check-in and check-out processes Maintain and organize medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies, ensuring all documentation review and filing are completed promptly. Support clinical staff by preparing thinning resident charts, filing on units as needed and making copies, etc. Generate phone lists, etc as needed by facility. Handle electronic health records (EHR) management across Point Click Care while maintaining high levels of accuracy in data entry and record keeping. Skills Proven experience in medical office administration or clinical reception roles within healthcare settings such as clinics or dental offices. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding, and health information management practices. Excellent customer service skills paired with phone etiquette and professional communication abilities. Proficiency in computer skills including typing (10 key typing), Microsoft Office Suite, and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Meditech. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and filing processes. Bilingual capabilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Knowledge of health insurance procedures, Medicare guidelines, clinical confidentiality policies, and medical billing practices is preferred.
