Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and personable Dental Front Desk professional to serve as the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of dental office operations. This role involves managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and supporting the overall efficiency of the clinic. Duties Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service while managing patient check-in and check-out processes. Schedule appointments accurately using dental practice management software Dentrix. Verify insurance coverage and calculate and collect co-pays and deductibles Assist with insurance verification, pre-authorizations, and documentation review related to treatment plans and billing. Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, addressing patient inquiries promptly. Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies to ensure smooth clinic operations. Skills Proven experience in dental office management or medical administrative support within a clinical setting. Proficiency with Dentrix or other software. Strong knowledge of dental terminology Familiarity with health information management standards such as HIPAA compliance. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and typing accuracy Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and medical records management.
