This is an important front-office role that combines patient communication with responsibility for insurance, billing, Accounts/ Recievable (A/R), phones, and scheduling. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, follows through on responsibilities, enjoys helping patients, and is interested in becoming a long-term member of our team. What you'll be responsible for: Insurance, Billing and A/R Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits Maintain accurate insurance information in patient records Submit dental insurance claims and required supporting documentation Track outstanding claims and follow up on unpaid or denied claims Monitor A/R and follow up on oputstanding balances Identify and resolve billing and insurance discrepancies Communicate clearly and professionally with patients regarding insurance benefits, estimated costs, and account balances Phones, Scheduling & Patient Communication Answer incoming calls in a friendly and professional manner Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Help maintain organized and productive provider schedules Assist with cancellations, schedule changes, and filling open appointments Respond to patient questions and direct clinical concerns to the appropriate team member Provide a welcoming and helpful experience for patients both over the phone and in the office Who We're Looking for: Our ideal candidate: Has previous dental front-office experience Has experience with dental insurance, billing, or A/R Has excellent communication and customer service skills Is dependable and follows through on tasks Can prioritize multiple responsibilities effectively Is comfortable discussing insurance and financial matters with patients Takes initiative and works well independently Communicates well with doctors and other team members Is comfortable using computers and dental practice management software Is willing to learn new systems and workflows Is looking for a stable, long-term position
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
