Job Description

An established private medical practice in the Pioneer Valley is seeking a medical front desk receptionist/clinical support specialist to join their team. Experience with check-in/check-out process a plus. Duties include, but are not limited to: answering phones, patient registration, appointment scheduling. Candidate will be trained to cross cover and assist with rooming patients. Experience a plus. We offer an excellent work environment, competitive salary & comprehensive benefits package. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive experience from check-in to check-out Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and facilitate insurance verification processes Schedule appointments accurately utilizing medical scheduling software and coordinate follow-up visits as needed Manage multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, handling inquiries and routing calls efficiently Requirements Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with front desk responsibilities Strong knowledge of EMR/EHR system ie: eClinicalWorks Familiarity with medical coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), billing procedures, insurance verification, and documentation review Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively Exceptional customer service skills paired with professional phone etiquette and strong organizational abilities Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Join our team where your enthusiasm for healthcare support makes a meaningful difference!
