Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Dental Receptionist to join our team (F/T or P/T). This role is vital in creating a welcoming environment for our patients and ensuring the smooth operation of our front office. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, knowledge of dental terminology, and 2 years of experience in a clinical or dental office setting. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing an excellent first impression. Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and scheduling appointments with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing medical records. Process patient information and insurance claims efficiently while adhering to medical coding standards. Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the clinic. Handle billing inquiries and assist patients with payment options as needed. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to enhance the patient experience. Skills Proficient in dental terminology and understanding of HIPAA regulations. Experience with dental coding is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Familiarity with dental office procedures or clinic operations is a plus. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing administrative tasks effectively. Ability to multitask while maintaining professionalism at all times. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
