Full Job Description Role Overview:
The Medical Assistant II provides advanced clinical support within a collaborative, value-based healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage patient flow, scheduling, and clinician support to optimize care delivery. Handle patient concerns, coordinate practice operations during clinician absence, review medical documentation, and assist with patient communication via mail and electronic messages. Support operational efficiency through participation in quality improvement activities, training new staff, and rotating across departments as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
Requires a high school diploma or GED, with over 3 years of clinical experience and at least 1 year as a Medical Assistant. Preferred certifications include BLS and ACLS. Demonstrates technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to serve as a resource for others.
Work Environment & Benefits:
