Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist/Medical phone desk reception to join our healthcare team. This vital role involves providing exceptional patient service, managing front desk operations, and ensuring smooth communication between patients and medical staff. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression while managing check-in and check-out procedures efficiently. Schedule appointments accurately within electronic health record (EHR) systems Verify patient insurance information, including health insurance knowledge related to Medicare, , and other billing procedures. Manage medical records by filing, retrieving, updating, and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA policies. Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as data entry, typing, filing, and 10-key typing to ensure efficient office operations. Support clinical staff by coordinating care plans and facilitating communication between patients and healthcare providers. Proven experience in a medical office setting or healthcare environment with strong clerical skills. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems ; experience with electronic health records management is highly preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, health information management, and clinical confidentiality policies including HIPAA compliance. Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle phone communication professionally and courteously. Proficiency in excellent tying skills Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinic environment while maintaining attention to detail. Salary is negotiable.
