This position pre-screens and books new patients, answers phones and greets patients. Manages account receivables and dental insurance. Presents financial treatment plans. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with children, researching insurance plans, take pride in the appearance of the office and have excellent people skills.
Responsibilities:
Give oral and written instructions to patients, families and other dental personnel. Answer calls, screen calls, and refer callers as necessary. Follow-up on previously scheduled appointments and verify patient information as needed. Schedule and confirm patient appointments; enter all appointment-related data into the dental practice management system. Prepare reports for the practice management department. Verify insurance eligibility and benefits Collect patient copays Present treatment plans and fees based on insurance coverage Check-in and check out patients review and explain EOB's to patients
