Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and professional Dental Front Desk Coordinator to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of dental office operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple administrative responsibilities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits Submit and track dental insurance claims and follow up as needed Collect copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances Manage patient check-in and check-out processes Maintain accurate patient records and update information in practice management software Handle phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries professionally Coordinate treatment plans and explain financial options to patients Work closely with dentists and clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 4+ years of dental front desk or dental administrative experience Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance plans (PPO, HMO, Medicaid) Experience with dental software (e.g., Open Dental, or similar) Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and positive attitude
Preferred Skills:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Experience handling AR, billing, and insurance follow-ups Ability to work independently and as part of a team

$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
