Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate, organize, and prioritize unit activities to support patient safety and throughput
- Handle multiple simultaneous tasks and requests in a high-stress clinical setting
- Support the healthcare team by managing communications, documentation, and procedural coordination
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of the medical record from admission through discharge
- Accurately enter and verify physician orders in the electronic health record (EHR) system (inpatient setting)
- Interact professionally with physicians, patients, visitors, and staff—often exceeding 100 unique interactions daily

Minimum Qualifications:
Education- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of an accredited business or medical assistant course, or equivalent experience requiredExperience
- Familiarity with medical terminology, clerical-level typing, and Windows-based applications preferredLicensure/Certification
