Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled dental front team member to join our team. We take PPO/FFS patients. We do not take Medicaid. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing patient care processes, ensuring seamless communication between patients and healthcare providers. This position requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, insurance verification, EOBs, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Experience with dental front office role, treatment coordination, and insurance EOB understanding is a must. Potential to become management position in the future. Responsibilities Coordinate patient treatment plans by collaborating with healthcare providers and insurance companies. Verify insurance coverage and benefits for patients, ensuring all necessary authorizations are obtained. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist patients in understanding their treatment options and financial responsibilities. Schedule appointments and follow-up visits, ensuring optimal patient flow within the office. Provide support in managing office operations, including handling phone inquiries and maintaining a welcoming environment for patients. Stay current with managed care policies and updates to ensure compliance and best practices. Requirements Recent dental experince is a plus Fluency in Spanish is a plus Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
