Medical Receptionist Rockville, MD Pay From:
$20/hr.
MUST:
Experience Medical Receptionist Must have 3+ years of experience as a Medical Receptionist Must have experience working with EMR Must have experience scheduling appointments Must have experience handling insurance verifications Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must have experience working with adult and pediatric populations
DUTIES:
Registers new patients with complete and accurate demographics according to procedure Verifies patient's insurance eligibility and benefits at each visit Updates patients' charts so that the information is entered correctly Scans documents into the electronic medical record as directed. Completes work daily to compile missing demographic and insurance information for billing purposes Obtain prior authorizations for care Answer phones taking patient demographic information Other duties as assigned Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
