Job Description
This is the job you're looking for! Integrative Health Center of Maine is seeking a receptionist to help run daily operations at our beautiful group medical office. We practice true integrative medicine, combining our various healing modalities to help people of all ages find their path to wellness. Position Summary The Receptionist is responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations at the practice, ensuring a smooth work flow and satisfactory experience for patients, staff, and clinicians. A multidisciplinary skill set is required including excellent interpersonal abilities, organizational skills, and implementation of IHCM's mission of improving public wellness. The position requires one to multitask in a busy-but-relaxed office setting while remaining welcoming, friendly, peaceful, and positive with patients and staff. Please note that we can't afford to offer full health insurance benefits but that we do pay a monthly stipend to you toward health and wellness. If you need full health insurance and can't get covered through a spouse or family, this position is not a good fit for you.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred. Minimum of three years of office reception experience, preferably in a medical setting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to accomplish multiple tasks. Demonstrated ability to work with patients, providers, staff, and colleagues in a collaborative and positive manner. Expertise in customer service concepts and implementation. Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly communicate both via writing and verbally. Quickbooks Online experience helpful. Excellent computer skills. Knowledge of medical confidentiality and HIPAA regulations. Ability to maintain a professional, friendly, and peaceful demeanor even under stressful circumstances.
