Job Description
Job Description The Intake Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for this location, providing a welcoming and professional experience for patients. This individual will be responsible for completing patient registration and intake activities for individuals arriving for appointments to be fitted for CPAP machines. Key duties include verifying patient information, collecting and entering accurate demographic and insurance data, scheduling and confirming appointments as needed, and ensuring all required documentation is completed in compliance with organizational policies and procedures. Strong customer service, communication, and attention to detail skills are essential for success in this role. - Excellent ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Solid ability to learn new technologies and possess the technical aptitude required to understand flow of data through systems as well as system interaction
- General knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Commercial health plan methodologies and documentation requirements preferred.
