About the Role We are seeking an experienced Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing dental practice. This position plays a critical role in delivering an excellent patient experience while ensuring smooth front-office operations, including patient scheduling, treatment plan coordination, and payment arrangements. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about dental insurance and treatment planning, with a strong commitment to patient service. Key Responsibilities Patient Experience Provide a welcoming and professional experience for all patients Address patient questions regarding appointments, treatment plans, and billing Identify opportunities to improve service and proactively resolve patient concerns Scheduling & Front Desk Operations Manage the daily patient schedule to maximize efficiency and support treatment plans Coordinate appointments for treatments, follow-ups, and hygiene visits Maintain accurate patient records and ensure smooth patient flow Treatment Plan & Payment Coordination Present treatment plans and discuss financial options with patients Verify insurance benefits and explain coverage to patients Set up payment arrangements aligned with office policies to minimize accounts receivable Team Collaboration Work closely with dentists, hygienists, and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient care Communicate effectively with management and team members to support office operations Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in a dental office front desk or treatment coordinator role Strong understanding of dental insurance, PPO plans, reimbursement, and verification Experience presenting treatment plans and discussing financial arrangements Proficiency with Open Dental - dental practice management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Excellent communication and customer service skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a high-volume dental practice Strong understanding of dental billing and insurance processes Proven ability to manage patient scheduling efficiently
