Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Receptionist Technician to join our healthcare team! In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, providers, and visitors, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience. Your expertise in medical administrative support, electronic health records (EHR) management, and patient service will be essential in maintaining efficient clinic operations. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures. Schedule appointments accurately using medical scheduling software. Manage patient records by reviewing documentation for accuracy, updating medical records, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA. Collect payments and perform medical collection activities while maintaining professionalism. Answer phone calls with excellent phone etiquette; provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally Support clinical staff by assisting with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry and maintaining organized medical records Qualifications Proven experience in a medical office setting or clinic environment with clerical and administrative skills would be beneficial but not a requirement. Accurate recordkeeping and billing procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with strong typing skills (including 10 key typing) for efficient data entry Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone communication.
