MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST
to join our team!
Duties include:
Professionally greets and assists every individual that enters the facility. Responsible for selling memberships for fitness and retail items for both Outpatient Therapies & Fitness; keeping an accurate account of the cash drawer. Answers the phone in a timely and professional manner: routing calls, scheduling, and processing referrals. Interviews and gathers patient information and registers all new patients; establishes initial department files for all new patients. Gives tours of the facility and has a basic knowledge of all equipment available and programs that are offered and is prepared to answer basic member questions. Cleans and sanitizes fitness equipment.
HOURS:
This position is Full Time; 0.9 FTE or 72 hours per pay period. Weekends as needed. Experience/Qualifications Knowledge of office procedures normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. CPR/BLS required within 6 months of hire. One year of business office, customer service or healthcare experience preferred. Knowledge of medical and fitness terminology desirable. Ability to work collaboratively, independently, and effectively with patients, employees and the public. Excellent written and oral communication skills with a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality. Employee Benefits Full benefits packages available for part- and full-time status.
