In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional administrative support within a medical setting. Your responsibilities will include managing patient interactions, coordinating appointments, and supporting the smooth operation of the front desk. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, familiarity with medical terminology, and experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems. Duties Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression. Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, addressing patient inquiries and routing calls appropriately. Schedule patient appointments accurately using medical scheduling software. Assist with medical administrative tasks Maintain and update electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems efficiently and securely. Understand and communicate basic medical terminology when interacting with patients and healthcare providers. Experience Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare environment is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable. Experience working with EMR/EHR systems is preferred. Strong phone communication skills are essential for effective patient interaction. Knowledge of health insurance procedures and documentation will be beneficial. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
