Job Description

Gaines Pediatric Dentistry is a well established pediatric dental office looking to hire an exceptional receptionist. The ideal candidate should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, have excellent communication skills, be detail oriented and able to multitask. We're looking for someone who is a team player, highly motivated, and enjoys interacting with others. Our receptionist is the first face our patients see when they enter the office and they are a big part of what makes Gaines Pediatric Dentistry great. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Opening and closing the office. Greeting families when they arrive and checking patients in. Ensuring all patient paperwork is completed and proper consent forms are signed. Use Open Dental and BlueNote software to let the clinical team know that a patient has arrived. Monitor any missed appointments and document accordingly. Confirm appointments for the following day and communicate any necessary details to the patient parent. First in line to answer the phone. Check-out and reappoint patients as needed. Receive and document payments taken in-person and over the phone. Assist with medical record management. Assist with insurance verification. Work schedule is Tuesday-Thursday from 7:30am-4:30pm, with a lunch break from 12:30pm-1pm.
