Our doctors are board certified M.D. pediatricians who work out of offices in both Troy and Novi. Our practice employs cutting edge technology including electronic medical records, direct to pharmacy prescription requests, and a HIPAA secure website. Successful receptionist candidates will perform the following: Answer multi-line telephone system in a courteous and timely manner Schedule same day appointments Check patients in through Phressia Complete process for checking out patients; schedule additional appointments when needed Send patients to assigned exam room Update patient information when necessary Request insurance eligibility on appointments Verify copay amounts, update insurance plan information Send patient portal invites to parents Stock and order supplies as needed Some evenings hours (until 5:30pm) and rotating Saturday morning hours.
Requirements Skills/Qualifications required:
Provide outstanding customer service Execute excellent verbal and written communication Complete basic math equations Maintain an organized workspace Display professionalism and time management skills Possess strong computer skills Educated with a high school diploma Minimum of one year working in a medical office
