16000 N Haggerty Rd Plymouth, MI 48170 Job Summary We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate has prior dental office experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide outstanding customer service while managing daily front office operations. Experience with dental practice management software and dental insurance verification is preferred. Responsibilities Welcome patients with a positive and professional attitude. Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries. Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments. Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits. Collect patient payments and process financial transactions. Maintain accurate patient records and update personal information. Check patients in and out efficiently. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth daily operations. Submit and follow up on referrals when needed. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Assist with administrative tasks and support the dental team. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of dental front desk experience required. Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix) preferred. Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Preferred Skills Dental terminology knowledge. Insurance claims and treatment plan presentation experience. Ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems efficiently. Strong attention to detail. Positive attitude and professional appearance.
