Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients with scheduling appointments and completing forms. Manage electronic health records (EHR) and organize medical records. Educate patients on medical procedures, tests, and medication administration. Coordinate referrals, verify insurance coverage, and process insurance claims. Maintain inventory, cleanliness, and organization of the medical office. Communicate effectively with patients, medical staff, and other professionals. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols. Address patient concerns and provide accurate answers to medical questions.
Requirements:
2-4 years of experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role Proficient in insurance verification and authorizations Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with patients and staff Ability to maintain composure and calm patients in stressful situations Knowledge of medical terminology to answer patient inquiries accurately Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively Experience managing multiple phone lines and scheduling appointments Proficiency with medical office software and scheduling systems If you're someone who radiates positivity, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, we want to hear from you!
