Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and professional Medical Receptionist to be the face of our office. This position will handle front-desk responsibilities while also helping with basic clinical and patient-support tasks. Responsibilities Welcome patients and handle check-in and check-out Collect copays and other payments Verify insurance and patient information Answer phones and assist patients with questions Update patient charts and information in the EMR Communicate lab results to patients as directed by the provider Assist with prescription requests and communicate with pharmacies when needed Help with referrals, medical records, and other patient paperwork Communicate with patients, providers, pharmacies, and insurance companies Keep the front desk organized and help maintain smooth patient flow Follow HIPAA and office policies Schedule and confirm appointments Qualifications Previous medical office experience preferred Comfortable using computers and EMR systems Familiar with medical terminology, prescriptions, and basic clinical processes Strong communication and phone skills Able to handle patient questions in a professional and helpful manner Organized and able to multitask in a busy office Reliable, friendly, and professional What We Offer Training provided Friendly and supportive team Modern medical office Opportunities for growth Professional work environment
