This vital role combines exceptional customer service with efficient administrative support, ensuring a smooth experience for every patient. As the first point of contact, you'll manage appointment scheduling, patient check-ins, and insurance processing while maintaining strict adherence to healthcare confidentiality standards. Bring your enthusiasm, organizational skills, and medical office experience to create a positive environment that patients look forward to visiting. Duties Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression Schedule and confirm appointments using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, Meditech, or Athenahealth Verify patient insurance coverage and process claims efficiently while adhering to HIPAA regulations Collect payments, perform medical collections, and manage billing procedures with accuracy Maintain and update patient records in electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring documentation review for completeness Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette and assist with patient inquiries Support clinical staff by managing medical records, documentation review, and coordinating care plans as needed Qualifications Proven experience in a medical or dental front desk setting with strong knowledge of medical administrative support and office management Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic, Meditech, eClinicalWorks, or Athenahealth is highly preferred Solid understanding of health insurance processes including Medicare, HIPAA compliance, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and medical billing procedures Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and 10-key typing capabilities Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and medical records management Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone communication and office etiquette Join us in delivering outstanding patient care through efficient front desk operations!
