Full-Time Hourly, Monday - Friday Position Summary The Front Desk/Medical Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients at our Sleep center and DME clinic. This role is critical to deliver a professional, efficient, and patient-centered experience while supporting sleep diagnostic services, CPAP setup coordination, and ongoing resupply needs. This position requires strong communication skills, diligence, and the ability to manage multiple workflows in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities Greet patients in person and by phone with professionalism and empathy. Verify patient demographics, insurance, and referral information. Register patients accurately in the HME/DME systems. Collect copays, balances, and obtain required consent and signatures. Always maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance Assist with walk-ins' resupply requests. Manage incoming referrals, faxes, and electronic communications. Maintain clean, organized front desk and patient-facing areas. Qualifications 3+ years of healthcare setting (preferably in sleep medicine, DME, or CPAP services) Strong customer service, diligence, and communication skills Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently. Basic computer proficiency (EMR, Scheduling systems, and Microsoft Office) Team -oriented with initiative-taking mindset Performance Expectations Clear communication with patients and internal teams, support efficient clinic operations, maintain reliable attendance and punctuality, and demonstrate accountability, adaptability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Monday-Friday , start time 7:30-4:30pm 40 hours per week
