Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Dental Receptionist / Insurance Coordinator, where you'll be the friendly face and patient advocate for out dental office. In this vital role, you will manage patient check-ins and check-outs, coordinate insurance claims, and ensure smooth administrative operations. Your energetic approach will help create a welcoming environment for patients while maintaining accurate documentation and insurance processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your medical administrative skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and handle all front desk duties including scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and managing patient flow. Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and follow up on outstanding payments. Review and update medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies. Assist patients with insurance questions, explain treatment plans. Manage electronic health records (EHR systems), including documentation review, filing, and data entry with high accuracy. Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure proper documentation of care plans and treatment notes. Handle phone communication professionally using excellent phone etiquette while providing exceptional customer service to patients and providers. Experience Proven experience in a medical office environment or dental clinic setting with strong clerical skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities. Prior dental coding and billing experience or healthcare administrative support is highly desirable. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
