Clinical reception experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Monday-Wednesday 9am-3pm, and Thursday-Friday 9am-3pm as needed. Job Description Position Summary In this position, the Receptionist assists the staff at Billings Dermatology & Aesthetics by making patient appointments, greeting and registering patients, answering patient questions related to products and services, and collecting payments. The Receptionist promotes service and product sales and maintains a neat and orderly work area consistent with medical standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greets the patient and answers the telephone, and communicates general information to patients
- Schedules appointments and updates schedule, using scheduling protocols
- Gathers accurate patient information, recording information using registration software
- Collects payments at time of service
- Supports ordering of supplies and maintaining product inventory
- Supports development of newsletter and other promotional activities
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of all spa treatments and products offered including benefits and contraindications
- Maintain a personal commitment to meeting the needs of patients and guests
- Maintain a good working relationship with staff and providers
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times
- Participate in all staff related meetings and other required activities
- Dress professionally, according to the current dress code standards
- Other duties as assigned Requirements Requirements are representative of the minimum level of knowledge, skills and/or abilities necessary to perform the essential functions of the position High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of one year experience in a salon or spa setting Ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Experience in understanding and usage of computers, including the Microsoft Office Suite and preferably knowledge of Nextech Practice Management, as well as the ability to learn applications relevant to the position
