Full Job Description Company Overview:
University Eye Associates is a large optometry practice with three locations, open Monday- Friday from 8:00 am-5:00 pm. At University Eye Associates, we strive to exceed our patient's expectations! We provide personalized vision care to our Charlotte, Harrisburg, and Davidson patients. We are currently seeking a receptionist for our Charlotte location in the University area. The preferred candidate will be a patient-focused team player who enjoys working in a busy medical office. Attention to detail is essential for success in the role. Having a positive outlook is imperative since the scheduler is the voice of the practice at the beginning of our patients' journey. This is a full-time position. Essential duties include but are not limited to: Answering phones Scheduling appointments Obtaining demographic and insurance information Quickly responding to emails and voicemails Insurance verification Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 1 year of medical office experience. Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
