Job Description

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team in Raleigh, NC. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of medical office operations, including patient scheduling, insurance verification, and medical records management. Responsibilities Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression of the clinic. Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, confirming, and rescheduling as necessary. Handle insurance verification and communicate with insurance companies to resolve any issues. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with privacy regulations. Process medical billing and collections efficiently to ensure timely payments. Assist in office management tasks to maintain a smooth workflow within the clinic. File and organize patient documents systematically for easy retrieval. Provide support in managing clinic operations, including inventory management of office supplies. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their inquiries or concerns in a professional manner. Skills Familiarity with handling medical records and maintaining confidentiality Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients, staff, and healthcare providers. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
