Job Description
Medical Receptionist Holy Family Medical Associates, LLC is seeking a dependable full-time experienced medical receptionist that enjoys being a part of a fast paced team that is dedicated to excellent patient care and customer service.

Applicants must be willing to work the following shifts. Monday, 7:45-4:15pm, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8:15am-5pm. Wednesday, 7:30am-11:30am. You will have Wednesday afternoons off. Duties and Responsibilities Greet persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations. Perform patient check-in at time of visit completing all necessary paperwork to ensure intake process is efficient and all clinic and regulatory policies are in compliance. Obtain accurate patient and insurance information and collect co-payments or fees. Research Insurance coverage and verify eligibility utilizing various websites or calling insurance company.MUST BE A SELF-STARTER
who likes to work in a fast paced medical office. Takes pride in work and strong attention to detail and works well in a team environment. Conduct functions associated with patient check-out including collecting payments and scheduling follow-up appointments. Perform duties involving record filing and retrieval and assisting with the filing of registration documentation in electronic medical record. Confirm next day appointments and alert patients concerning necessary documentation and payment. Follow up with patients regarding the Missed Appointment Policy and communicate appropriately. Transmit information or documents using computer, mail, or facsimile machine. Provide for patient safety and protection of patient privacy rights. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Skills- Talking to others to convey information effectively.
