Job Description
Dental Front Desk Lead Wanted Job Type:
Full-time, Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour (based on experience and skill)Location:
NHCCD 03031
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 hour shift, No weekends, No evenings About the Role We're looking for a- Dental Front Desk Lead
- — basically the captain of our front office ship.
- Running the Front Desk
- Own the daily schedule and keep patient flow smooth
- Greet patients and handle check-in/check-out like the pro you are
- Answer phones, answer questions, and keep the recall list from becoming a ghost town
- Keep patient records accurate and HIPAA-compliant
- Support the office manager on front desk procedures and treatment plan presentations
- The Behind-the-Scenes Insurance & Billing Stuff
- Submit and manage insurance claims and pre-authorizations
- Check patient eligibility/benefits before appointments so there are no surprises
- Post payments and send out billing statements
- Follow up on claim denials and advocate for our patients
- Keep an eye on accounts receivable so nothing slips through the cracks What We're Looking For
- Previous dental front office experience preferred.
- Billing/insurance experience is a bonus, not a dealbreaker if you're a fast learner
- Comfortable with dental software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, etc.) a plus
- Self-starter energy — you don't need someone hovering to get things done
- Great communication skills and a lot of patience
