In this vital role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from check-in to check-out. Your proactive approach will support efficient office operations, patient satisfaction, and seamless communication between patients and our dental providers. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression. Manage patient check-in and check-out processes using Eaglesoft as your dental practice management software. Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance eligibility checks, and handle insurance verifications accurately. Schedule appointments efficiently and manage appointment reminders. Answer multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately and handling inquiries promptly. Maintain accurate dental records, update patient information, and review documentation for completeness. Assist with billing procedures including payment posting. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and managing health information securely. Requirements Proven experience in a dental office environment with strong familiarity of dental terminology and billing practices. Proficiency in dental practice management software, such as Eaglesoft; experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records). Knowledge of insurance verification processes. Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities. Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining a friendly demeanor under pressure. Strong computer skills, Bilingual abilities are a plus to better serve diverse patient populations. Excellent organizational skills. Prior dental office experience is preferred; familiarity with dental terminology is advantageous. Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient privacy at all times. Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
