In this vital role, you will manage patient interactions, coordinate appointments, and ensure seamless communication between patients and clinical staff. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving dental team while sharpening your administrative and clinical support skills. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process Schedule appointments efficiently using EagleSoft and Weave Verify patient insurance coverage and process payments Maintain accurate records, review documentation for completeness, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies Answer multi-line phone systems with professionalism, providing excellent patient service and appointment coordination Support clinical staff with documentation review, care plan updates, and health information management Qualifications Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred; clinic experience is a plus Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EagleSoft, Weave Knowledge of health insurance processes including billing and insurance verification procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively via phone etiquette and in person Bilingual abilities (English/Spanish) are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations Ability to handle sensitive information in accordance with HIPAA regulations and maintain strict confidentiality Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in medical records management and administrative support tasks Previous dental clinic experience is advantageous but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
